Neptunes U16 ASC are the BOV Winter Water Polo U16 champions after beating Sliema U16 12–5 in the final that brought the age-group season to a close. The win completed an unbeaten U16 campaign for Neptunes and delivered the title after a season in which the two clubs had been among the competition's strongest sides.

Talk.mt described the Neptunes display as calm and clinical, and the margin reflected that control. Although the scoreline widened into a clear seven-goal win, the match was still framed as a fitting final between two of the best youth teams in the championship, with intensity and quality on show in front of an engaged crowd.

The rivalry tilted the other way in the under-20 competition. Sliema won the BOV Winter Water Polo U20 title without losing a match, sealing the championship with a 13–4 victory over Neptunes in the decisive final at the Birżebbuġa pool. That unbeaten run, and the scale of the closing win, underlined the depth of Sliema's youth section while also showing how heavily both clubs feature in Malta's junior water polo scene.

The trophy presentations were led by Ernest Agius, Chief Operations Officer at Bank of Valletta, alongside Karl Izzo, President of the Malta Aquatic Sports Association. Both reports cast the two finals as another sign of the strength of local youth development, with BOV's backing of the junior championships again presented as part of the wider effort to support emerging players in Maltese water polo.
