Ħamrun Woman, 84, Dies After Ċensu Borg Crash
An 84-year-old Ħamrun resident died on Tuesday after being struck by a light truck on Triq Ċensu Borg on Sunday morning. A magisterial inquiry is under way.

An 84-year-old woman from Ħamrun has died after being hit by a light truck in Triq Ċensu Borg on Sunday morning, the Malta Police Force said on Tuesday. The collision happened at around 8.30am and the victim was taken to Mater Dei Hospital with critical injuries.
Police said the vehicle was being driven by a 67-year-old man from Rabat. The woman remained in critical condition after the collision but died two days later in hospital.
Magistrate Joe Mifsud has opened a magisterial inquiry into the case, while police investigations are still ongoing. The death turns what began as a serious traffic-injury case into another fatal road incident now moving through both the criminal investigation and magisterial process.
