Traffic Police Officers Reunite with Sliema Accident

Police Constables K. Scicluna (PC2186) and R. Tonna (PC1113) of the Traffic Police Unit were on routine patrol in Sliema on 6 May 2026 when bystanders passing through the area flagged them down.

The two officers responded and rescued Maurice Galea at the scene of a traffic accident. A few days later, Scicluna and Tonna met Galea again — the first time they had seen him outside the emergency.
