Jayden Cutajar scored six goals to lead Sliema Nexawin to a 16-12 victory over neighbours Exiles Welbee's in a local water polo derby. Sliema built the win decisively in the middle two periods, starting level after the opening quarter and holding on despite Exiles' late recovery. The first period ended 4-4.
Sliema edged the second 4-3 to take the aggregate lead, then pulled away with a 4-1 third-period win. The fourth quarter finished 4-4. Cutajar's six goals were the largest individual contribution on either side.
