Roderick Briffa, a 44-year-old midfielder, has signed for Msida St Joseph, who compete in Malta's Amateur League 2. The move adds another chapter to a long domestic career that has taken him through Pietà Hotspurs, Birkirkara, Sliema Wanderers, Valletta, Gżira United, Mosta, and Victoria.
Briffa's career has crossed several clubs associated with the upper levels of Maltese club football. Valletta and Sliema Wanderers are among the country's most decorated sides historically, while Birkirkara and Gżira United have been fixtures in the Maltese Premier League in recent seasons.
