Two Maltese beach soccer clubs are representing their country at the Euro Winners Challenge 2026 in Nazaré, Portugal: Ħamrun SC Beach Soccer and Sliema Beach Soccer. The competition, which gathers leading club sides from national associations across Europe, runs through 11 June. Ħamrun SC Beach Soccer opened their group-stage campaign on the first day of the tournament against Kefallinia AO BS, a Greek side.
The opening-day fixture gave Ħamrun an immediate test against continental opposition. Sliema Beach Soccer are Malta's second representative in Nazaré, taking part in the same group stage. The tournament's full schedule for the club was not published in the available source material.
The Euro Winners Challenge gives clubs that have made their mark domestically the chance to measure that form against sides from other European countries. With both Maltese clubs in action across the same week, their results will be known by the 11 June closing date.
