Sliema to get Malta's first H&M store on 14 November

H&M will open its first store in Malta on Saturday 14 November, at Regina on Tower Road in Sliema, Hudson Holdings announced on 31 October. Hudson, a Malta-based retail and distribution group, will run the store as H&M's franchise partner, a role it has held since 2025. It also operates H&M stores in Morocco, including in Rabat and Marrakech, according to the announcement.

The store will sell women's, men's and children's clothing, as well as the H&M Move sportswear range and H&M Home products. Doors open at 10am, Lovin Malta reported. An official ribbon-cutting will be held before the opening, and the launch day will include live DJ entertainment and refreshments. The first 100 people in the queue will receive gift cards worth up to €500, Hudson said.

"The arrival of H&M in Malta represents a significant milestone for both Hudson and the local retail sector," said Chris Muscat, Hudson's chief executive. Lia Tsampounieraki, Hudson's group retail business manager for H&M, said: "Malta is an attractive and dynamic market, and we look forward to offering customers fashion and quality at the best price."
