Three new circular bus routes will launch on the Tallinja network on 8 September, serving Tas-Sliema, Ħal Qormi and Żejtun. The Ministry for Sustainable Mobility, Transport Malta and Malta Public Transport made the joint announcement. Three localities.

Three loops. Each route will run every 30 minutes from early morning until late at night. The services are described as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the public transport network across Malta.

Tas-Sliema sits on the northeastern coast and is one of Malta's most densely populated urban areas. Ħal Qormi lies in the centre of the island and Żejtun is in the southeast. The circular routes – running continuous loops through each locality rather than straight lines between two fixed termini – are intended to improve local connectivity within these communities.

Route numbers, stop sequences and full timetables were not included in the announcement. The official Tallinja channels are expected to carry complete schedule information ahead of the 8 September start date.
