Infrastructure Malta says the rebuilt southbound slip road from Triq Mikiel Anton Vassalli to Msida Creek opens on 14 October, easing access towards Sliema.
A rebuilt slip road at Msida Creek that gives drivers another route towards Sliema opens on Wednesday 14 October, Infrastructure Malta announced, Lovin Malta reported on 13 October.
The southbound slip road runs from Triq Mikiel Anton Vassalli towards Msida Creek. According to Infrastructure Malta, it was completely reconstructed, with new underground services laid and boundary walls rebuilt, and it is expected to improve access for vehicles heading towards Sliema, Msida and Ta' Xbiex.
The road is part of the wider Msida Creek Project, which is reshaping one of Malta's busiest traffic junctions. Infrastructure Malta described the opening as "another milestone" for the project.
