A free evening of live music will take over Teatru Salesjan in Sliema on Saturday 21 June, when the venue hosts a Fête de la Musique celebration open to all comers. Doors open at 6:30pm, concerts run from 7pm to 10pm, and no tickets, entry fee, or prior registration are required. The date is deliberate.

The 21st of June marks the summer solstice, the occasion on which Fête de la Musique is held each year across France and in cities around the world — a tradition built on the straightforward premise of free, publicly accessible live music to mark the arrival of summer. Three acts fill the programme: Sweet & Sour, Maracujazz, and Caña Soul.

Food and drinks will be on sale throughout the evening. Alliance Française de Malte-Méditerranée, the French Embassy in Malta, and Teatru Salesjan are co-organising the event. APS Bank is a supporting sponsor, and the evening forms part of the Breaking Bread Project.
