Artemis Interior founder Shalise Barnes designed and fitted out a bare-shell penthouse in Sliema as a short-let holiday retreat, now listed on Airbnb with a rating of 4.98 out of 5. Barnes converted the newly built property into a two-bedroom apartment with an open living area across 150 square metres. A 55-square-metre terrace includes a heated private pool, sun loungers and a barbecue area with views across the Sliema skyline.
Interior features include premium finishes, a spa-style master suite and a desk area with high-speed Wi-Fi. Airbnb has designated the listing a "traveller favourite", a label the platform applies to properties with consistently strong reviews. Guests have described it as "better than described", "the best Airbnb we've ever stayed in" and "by far my favourite Airbnb in the world".
The owner's brief was to produce a property that stands out in a competitive rental market and generates reliable income. The 4.98-star rating and the claim that the listing ranks among Malta's highest-rated properties are drawn from Artemis Interior's project materials. The guest quotes are unattributed in those materials.
